Vanessa obtained a master’s degree in Environmental and Behavioural Biology at Università degli Studi di Firenze, Italia. Always ready for adventure, she’s fascinated by nature.
Following her love for science, she joined the SeaChem project as a PhD student at the University of Galway, Ireland, to study the optimization of seaweed composition under current and future environmental scenarios. She believes that planktonic and seaweed communities, which support life on Earth as we know it, will play a key role in developing a way to live in harmony with our planet, in particular under changing climatic conditions.
