Training a New generation of Researchers in Offshore Seaweed Aquaculture to Produce High-value Chemicals - SeaChem

First in-person meeting of the SEACHEM researchers

The ten SEACHEM doctoral candidates Usman Ali, Mohammad Hassanzadeh, Mihret Tegegn, Caya de Leeuw van Weenen, Vanessa Nardini, Julie Grivotte, Roberto García Perán, Carlotta Minardi, Hussein Ahmad Qulatein, and Maxime Ekoule, met for the first time in occasion of the first SeaChem Network-Wide Training Event, which took place in Leuven, 13 – 17 November 2023.

As an icebreaker, they participated to the insightful workshop on diversity and inclusive communication led by Dr. Edwin Hoffman. Special thanks to our SeaChem project colleagues Raf Dewil, Lise Appels, Nick Sweygers, Sofie Van Den Hende, Erik-jan Malta, and Geert Potters for the great talks and workshops organised during the week!
